It’s often difficult for the older population to ask for help. Our lives have changed so much over the decades. In days gone by, people didn’t have cleaners as the wife or mother was usually responsible for the housework while the men went to work.

We’ve seen huge changes over the last fifty years so you can see why it’s sometimes hard for older people to ask for and accept help. Our generation is much more open to the idea of help in the home.
