Hello,
My name is Viveen, I am a registered nurse and have been nursing for over 21 years. I have had first hand experience of needing an extra pair of hands when supporting and caring for family members with long term health issues.
My team and I are passionate about providing high quality home help services for families and individuals within North Birmingham.

I am proud to offer Extra Help® to everyone who may need our home help service within our North Birmingham community. It is important for us to make a difference within our community, improving the lives of young families, working professionals, infirm people and the elderly population.

The ageing population is increasing and I am particularly passionate and committed to supporting the elderly and also the incapacitated population; allowing them to remain as independent in their own homes for as long as possible. We offer support by way of :
● Cleaning This includes standard, spring or deep or one off such as end of tenancy
● De-cluttering of homes and maintenance on a weekly basis;
● Domestic cleaning and household tasks, washing, ironing, changing bed sheets,
washing and ironing.
● Taking clients shopping which can include food, pharmacy and post office trips. We
can go on their behalf if they prefer or we can place online shopping orders for them
and be at the address to receive the shopping and it pack away.
● Companionship this can include sitting with infirm clients – offering respite to their
carers, or just sitting and talking with the elderly/incapacitated clients.
● Dog Walking
● Accompanying clients to medical appointments/hairdressers/barbers/social events etc
● Cooking and meal preparation
● Light diy tasks such as changing light bulbs, changing fuses etc…
● Gardening
● Taking children to and from school

As well as supporting the elderly and incapacitated, we offer support to busy families juggling their time between work, the school run plus extra curricular activities.

Busy professionals, we are here for you too. You may need us to clean the house, feed your pet at lunchtime or even stock up the fridge for you.
Myself and all staff members are either standard or enhanced DBS giving you peace of mind. All staff references have been rigorously checked as well as being fully insured.

As you can see we provide a wide range of home help services. We take care of tasks some members of our community are unable to do; or choose not to, therefore allowing you more time to do things you enjoy. Extra Help North Birmingham provides peace of mind and support for families, infirm people and the elderly.

Please note we DO NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE/SUPPORT. Our services can be used on a regular or one off basis and are bespoke for individual clients needs/requirements.
